  This is our new favorite restaurant.We live in Southern VT and this restaurant is amazing.So glad we heard about it.
  Food is delicious and interesting..fresh farm to table , friendly atmosphere, great waitresses, not your run of the mill recipes..inventive and wonderful variety.
  The wait staff is very knowledgeable about the food and you can and should ask for their opinions if not sure of what to order.
  Great rack of lamb, chicken dish, spare ribs and duck. Had an amazing Pavlova for dessert..poached pears and saffron I think..Get a reservation!!!

  Traveled to Western MA with my boo for an extended weekend getaway. Visited the Shellburne Falls area for the latter half of one day and we really enjoyed it. There's all kinds of unique nooks and crannies here: cats, potholes, candlepin bowling, bridges, falls, scenery, and we ate dindin at The Blue Rock Restaurant & Bar.
  
  When we first entered, it was downstairs, which was unique. We realized whilst munching that we were located directly beneath Boswell's Bookstore. (definitely worth meeting Boswell, she's a cutie pie.)
  
  I had difficulty ordering, (didn't know what to get!) but the waiter informed us that the Chef was Mexican and choosing anything off the menu that was south of the USA's border would be a good hit. He was right. I don't recall my dish but it was "vegetarian" beans, rice, and the like. It was delicious too and not an overwhelming portion of food!
  
  My boo and I shared a slice of cheesecake afterwards. Mmmmmmmmmmmmm!
  
  As far as seating goes, it's tougher to snag a sit-down table than a high-chair table. We sat across from the bar and next to the hall which leads to the bathroom and kitchen. It was like eating next to a highway. If we got up, we had to look both ways and same thing with entering and exiting the bathroom.
  
  They had a delicious bloobz drink/soda. If you love sweet blue fruity things, give it a try. We noticed a sign on the other side of the river that the Blue Rock Restaurant and Bar would be opening up soon there. I'm guessing they needed more space.
  
  Whether this place ends up on the right or left side of the bridge (depends on where you're at), definitely have/try some yummm eats!
